According to THE World Health Organization

Half the world’s population at risk. More than 3.3 billion people are at risk of Malaria, with over 219 million cases worldwide

Malaria kills a child every 45 seconds.

Malaria claims 660,000 lives per year – 29% of those in the WHO Africa Region, mostly among children under 5 years of age.

The impact of Malaria and other insect-borne diseases on families, communities and the economies of many developing countries has been tremendous. Malaria infects over 219 million per people annum – that is nearly 5 times more than the worldwide caseload of the other major infectious diseases such as AIDS, TB and Leprosy combined. NGOs and concerned citizens have a prominent role to play in controlling Malaria. Even though Malaria is prevalent in many continents such as Europe, Africa, America and South-East Asia, the dynamics of Malaria is governed by local factors. To fight against this menace, Carillion Global intends to partner with NGOs and provide Insectpel™ products to people who are most susceptible to these diseases. Malaria is a complex issue that requires a multi-pronged collaborative approach. It is only through sustainable partnerships with organisations and communities at large that we can speed up progress toward the ultimate goal of Malaria eradication.
